Take a handful of Classics, add a twist of ”Future Classics” and stir in a generous measure of Original Music and you've got 45 Reasons. Shaking up the Cape Town music scene. Come and check us out... You won't be disappointed!!! 45 Reasons was formed by Mike and Nikki Lee Dorea in JHB in 2010. The band was formed out of frustration for playing the same tired old covers that all the other bands were doing… We wanted to play the covers that WE wanted, or put our own spin on some of the more popular covers. We had also started writing in JHB and wanted to perform some of the originals live as well. We have tried to put together a set list that is not quite as mainstream as most cover bands, but chose songs that are “Good, well written songs” and would please audiences. So far the response to the song choice has been fantastic and our original songs are becoming firm favourites amongst the crowds.
